Picture this. 5 musicians on a weekend trip away to Centre Parcs for a whole load of activities, walking, food and – music! Although our initial plan was to just bring enough equipment to possibly do some partial rehearsing, inspiration took over and this resulted in us recording our first video cover…
“Tere Liye” is a feature track from the 2004 Bollywood film “Veer Zaara”. The original music was done by the late Madan Mohan, with lyrics by Javed Akhtar and features vocals by Roopkumar Rathod. We opted to change the style from the original version of the song and create a vibe which would encapsulate both the affection of the lyrics along with the serenity of our surroundings.
So after a day of long walks and excessive monkeying around, we got together and recorded this cover in one wonderful evening. We ended the weekend by taking some shots in the nearby areas which resulted in us gifting ourselves with our first video and completed what was an amazing weekend away for the band.
